A DALTON United striker kicked his 600th goal into the back of the net on April 22

The game was put on to raise money for a series of charities through Jo’s Appeal. For many of the old team mates it was a chance to see old friends and show that they still had the skills from their days of glory. Jo sadly passed away in August of that year. She was 38 years old. Her husband, Matt, was the Under-14s A team goalkeeper during their successful campaign in 1984/85. Players and officials who represented the Barrow Celtic under-14s A and B teams from 1984 to 85 took part in the reunion match at the Barrow Park Leisure Centre’s 3G pitch.
