Former Clark County corrections officer David Lowe, 29, broke down sobbing as he claimed he was 'coerced into a false confession' because he 'feared for his safety' during his interrogation.
"When I met with each and every one of these women, and they broke down repeatedly, you get the impression, the understanding of what these women went through," said attorney Bart Betteau.
Clark County Sheriff's Department, ex-corrections officer David Lowe and unnamed jail staff in Jeffersonville are being sued by the women in two separate lawsuits.
The lawsuit is against Clark County Sheriff Jamey Noel, former jail officer David Lowe, and other unknown jail officers.
