A NEW primary school will open on the western edge of Taunton by September 2022, the county council has promised. Construction is currently proceeding on the Orchard Grove development - also known as the Comeytrowe urban extension - between the A38 Wellington Road and Honiton. The site, which will be built out by 2028, will eventually feature 2,000 houses, employment units, a ‘park and bus’ facility and a new primary school. The waterfront site BUSINESSMEN Sandy and James Easdale have acquired an "extensive waterfront site" off Cardross Road just outside Dumbarton, with their planned development on the land bringing their total construction projects to more than £400m.
