The town of killeen, texas is very close by. one of the things we noted earlier that is worth remembering in all this, in fact this community has not only dealt with what happened on this base, with nidal hasan and this incident but 23 years ago just outside of the base at killeen, one of the biggest shootings in this country's history at the luby's cafeteria which affected many families connected to this base. so the civilian and the military community here has been through a tremendous amount in a very short time, wolf. certainly there are many people living on both sides of the base barrier...
