Meanwhile, BWSSB assistant executive engineer Vinay has said the BCMC Layout is part of the 110 villages expected to get Cauvery water supply under Cauvery Stage V. “Supply of Cauvery water is expected to be improved when the Cauvery Stage V project is completed. The other layout where Cauvery water is being supplied twice a week is not part of the 110 villages,” said the BWSSB assistant executive engineer.
Appreciating the BBMP authorities and elected representatives for taking up the pending road work, Yatish M, a resident, has said that replacing UGD pipes and water supply pipes and developing the road would be a great help for the residents of the area. “The 11th Main is an important road in Jayanagar. I welcome the BBMP authorities and elected representatives’ decision to develop this road,” said Yatish.
One can find the 700-metre-long cycle track between Minsk Square and Manipal Centre on Cubbon Road. The track, which has now been repaired, had caved in at a few locations.

BBMP starts cleaning 100 black spots in city
In an attempt to better Bengaluru’s ranking in Swachh Survekshan 2021 survey, the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) authorities are leaving no stones unturned. In 2020, Bengaluru had a poor showing in the survey, ranking 214, against the ranking of 194 from 2019.

Solid Waste Management (SWM) Department will attempt to beautify 100 black spots in Bengaluru, within 45 days.
