A Beach Elementary student was recently struck by a vehicle. The student followed her dog into the roadway, where she was struck by the vehicle.

Researchers say that regular tutoring sessions, either one-on-one or in very small groups, multiple times a week and built into the school day are the best way to help students catch up after pandemic disruptions.
