Mechanical engineers stick 900 feet underground inside of an elevator. they were descending into the floor of 2300-foot salt mine to start their shift last night when their elevator suddenly stopped. they had food, lighting equipment, water with them, all things they have for overnight shift. that was good news. conditions were very, very cold. blankets, hand warmers, heaters were lowered down while a rescue plan was put in place with a crane that lowered a basket down to lift miners up four at a time. they believe a mechanical malfunction is to blame. that s what we believe happened, one of the steel vertical beams, guides broke loose and came out in the shaft enough when the elevator came down, it came in contact with it and stopped the elevator. reporter: each team of four men waited for the next team to be hoisted out of the shaft until all back on ground level together where they were then reunited with family members. martha: wow. ....

Center in brooklyn. a guy on the ground with a green laser pointing it at the helicopter as it flew overhead which was staying a news story about a stoly2 city bus. the news chopper pilot notified the towervçjl at laguardia airport which contacted the police. while filmed the men who appeared to be laughing down on the ground. the helicopter crew helped track down the suspects found in the basement of a nearby building. one was cleared but the other was arrested. look. you see where he is? don t look at it. another targeted over the river. just like in brooklyn the crews stayed on the scene and kept an eye on the suspect and police later busted one man. meanwhile in class dallas last night a virgin american plane and private jet all hit with beams while approach to love field flying 300 to 400,000 feet from the airport that perpetrator or perpetrators have not been caught. it can earn you up to 20 years in prison and $250,000 fine if i are caught doing. ....
