A HISTORIC village pub near Chester has undergone a major refurbishment ahead of its reopening next week. The Swan at Tarporley, one of Cheshire’s most iconic pubs which dates back to the 16th century, is set to welcome back customers indoors on Monday (May 17). Guests will finally be able to experience the extensive renovation that the pub and its bedrooms have undergone during the lengthy period of closure.
