A Clinton man was arrested in Elk City recently after allegedly threatening a woman with a knife and holding her against her will.
According to a probable cause affidavit, 33-year-old Cory Lee Meade was arrested just after midnight on June 22 near the intersection of State Highway 6 and Meadow Ridge Drive after Elk City Police were dispatched to the area when a report came in saying a male subject had a shotgun pointed at an individual, and that one male subject had thrown a female subject to the ground.
When police arrived, they found four subjects – including Meade – standing in the north bound lane of S.H. 6, and another subject in a nearby pickup. ....
