A memorandum of cooperation and strategic cooperation was signed at the headquarters of the NOC of Belarus. The ceremony was attended by Belavia Director General Igor Cherginets and President of the NOC of Belarus Viktor Lukashenko.
In his opinion, peacemaking forces enjoy solid demand in today's world. “Peacemakers are the people, who achieve peace. It is truly important for any country where a conflict may flare up,” Viktor Gulevich concluded.
Viktor Gulevich said: “All the goals have been reached. The tasks have been accomplished well. The exercise vividly demonstrated the high cohesion of military command and control bodies.”
Military contingents of five countries take part in the exercise: Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Tajikistan. A total of over 2,500 military personnel and over 500 units of weaponry, military and special hardware will be deployed for the exercise.
