This past Sunday was a very special day that will long be remembered by the campers and counselors at Camp HASC. About two dozen Jewish motorcyclists, representing the Chai Rider Motorcycle Club of New York, visited the campus in Parksville, New York.
Dogs4Soldiers, under the Belev Echad organization, combines dog therapy with other treatment methods to help IDF veterans battling PTSD.

“They care and want to listen. It was a beautiful thing to see, and I better understand the connection of American Jews to Israel,” said 26-year-old wounded Israeli veteran Omer Mor, who experiences a chance to interact with Diaspora Jewry as part of Belev Echad.
