Prices on Whole Chickens and Chicken Cuts Increases
Armando Cowo “We are looking at six cents per whole chicken, which is the chicken consumed by the average Belizean household. We closed the year last year with an average of two dollars and thirty two cents per chicken. If you add six cents to that its two thirty nine per pound of chicken. So that is what we expect you will be getting. Now the other one, the one that come in the packs, those will go up by sixteen cents, so as not to put all the price. If you notice we are putting the most common household product at the lowest price, which is an additional six cents.”
