Quinte region has now recorded over 1,000 COVID-19 cases since the start of the pandemic
We’ve hit a grim milestone in the COVID-19 pandemic, as the number of new cases continues to climb locally. Hastings Prince Edward Public Health has recorded now over 1,000 cases of the virus, since the pandemic began in March of 2020. The region has seen a total of 1,004 cases overall, as of today. Health officials are reporting 17 new cases today, and 10 more recoveries. Seven of the new cases reported are listed as variants of concern.
