The fire is in Crawford Notch State Park, the White Mountain National Forest, and on private land.
The fire, which has been dubbed the Bemis Fire, is burning in steep, mountainous terrain near the Arethusa Falls trail. See Boston.com.
This weekend's fire is the latest in a series of brush/forest fires in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
