Federal prisons officials released Evans Landscaping owner Doug Evans from Ashland Federal Correctional Institution and sent him back to Cincinnati on Dec. 2 after serving six months of his 21-month sentence for minority contracting fraud.
Evans was convicted in 2018 and sentenced to 21 months in prison. An appeal, which failed, further delayed the date that Evans reported to prison.
