Quebec's proposed bill allowing advanced consent for assisted dying applauded by advocates
Sonia Bélanger, the minister responsible for seniors, tabled the bill Thursday. If passed, it will expand medical assistance in dying (MAID) and allow people to ask for it before they are incapacitated by an incurable disease.
