Would-be speakers must answer 10 questions in advance
Roanoke County's School Board has new restrictions for who's allowed to address the board at public meetings. Among other changes, speakers must be county residents, county students, parents of students, or school system employees. Would-be speakers must sign up at least 10 hours before a meeting begins; answer all 10 questions on an online form; and, bring photo ID displaying their home address to the meeting 30 minutes before it begins.
