A prosecuting attorney in Ross County, Ohio, says in a motion filed Thursday he wants to dismiss charges, for now, against Jadarrius Rose.

Attorney Jeffrey C. Marks said it was a mistake to charge Jadarrius Rose with fleeing after committing a felony. Lesser charges could still be filed.

Marks wrote in the motion that after reviewing the footage and police reports, he believes it was a mistake to charge Rose with fleeing after committing a felony.

Marks told Judge Michael Ater Thursday. An aide to Rose's lawyer, Benjamin J. Partee, said he declined comment on Monday.
