Naropa U and others expand psychedelic therapy training
Naropa University is building out its programming on psychedelic-assisted therapies as some states move to legalize them. The drugs are a growing area of academic interest. As research on psychedelic drugs grows, campus leaders at Naropa University hope to carve out a niche for their small Buddhist-influenced university in Colorado. The university is training health clinicians in psychedelic-assisted therapy, which they predict will become a burgeoning mental health practice in the state.
