Council awards 96th Street Roadworks tender
Upgrades will provide additional sewer capacity to the neighbourhood to prevent the chance of backups, the report says. The city received five submissions in response to the tender, including Champman Industries out of Vernon ($1,332,722.46), Terus Construction out of FSJ ($1,342,786.32), Knelson out of La Crete ($1,360,360.59), Knappett Industries out of FSJ ($1,385,931.75), and S. Young Enterprises out of FSJ ($1,504,026.28). The project is under the $1.5 million budget with a surplus of just under $62,000.
