Boko Haram: Civilian fighters lose legs, Zulum approves foreign treatment

Daily Post Nigeria Published Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum, has ordered special medical treatment for nine Civilian JTF members attacked by Boko Haram. They sustained serious injuries in a battle with insurgents in Dikwa. Some lost their legs and now crippled. Zulum also approved foreign treatment for the personnel if doctors currently attending to them recommends. The volunteers are part of thousands of others assisting the Nigerian militarily in ongoing battle against Boko Haram. Zulum approved a 100 percent upward review of their monthly allowances. He assured of government’s continued support. The governor paid tribute to them and the rest for their selfless sacrifices to the state and Nigeria in the war against terrorism.
