A man who allegedly sparked a large armed police response in Christchurch has been found. A police spokeswoman said just after 10pm on Thursday Brandon Jarden was located by police. Police were searching for him following a firearms incident at a home in the suburb of Burnside shortly before 12pm on Thursday, which caused the lockdown of a school and a daycare centre. “The man will appear in the Christchurch District Court tomorrow facing several charges. A police spokesperson says they were responding to an incident at approximately 12pm, which was believed to involve one person. Cordons were put in place while police attempted to locate the person.
