Employers struggling to keep up with unemployment fraud cases hope new precautions will cut down on scammers placing fake claims in workers' names.Unemployment benefits fraud has been on the rise since Pennsylvania launched a new unemployment system in June.Beth McMaster, the vice president of operations for a not-for-profit in Cumberland County, said unemployment checks were sent to employees who didn't request them.
