Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The Assembly Finance Committee adjusted its funding contribution for the Juneau School District during its meeting Wednesday night.

Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The Assembly Finance Committee meets this evening. Mayor Beth Weldon says the panel will take up the Juneau School District Budget.  The revision to that budget allows the Assembly to increase the amount of the local cap to the tune of about $56,000. The committee will take up the proposal to update the Juneau Economic Development Plan. Members will also examine the CBJ investment portfolio and the audit of the Fiscal Year 20 financial statement. The meeting is scheduled to convene at 6 p.m.

The Committee of the Whole meets that beginning at six. A joint meeting is scheduled with the Docks and Harbors Board of Directors, according to Mayor Beth Weldon. Docks and Harbors will present its revised budget for this fiscal year and the spending plan for FY 22 which will need Assembly approval to take effect.
