BENIN CITY – Following their immense contributions to the development and growth of humanity as well as propagating the cultural heritage of the people, the Governors of Edo and Delta States, Benin Monarch, Edo Deputy Governor of Edo state, Mr Godwin Obaseki, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, HRM Oba Eware II, Rt. Hon Philip Shaibu, Chief Dan Orbih and others on Sunday bagged the prestigious 2021 Edo cultural Heritage Heroes Award amid pomp and ceremony.
The Award which was Organised by Fecha Project Foundation in Benin City, the Edo State Capital attracted Creme de la creme in the society.
While Governor Obaseki was awarded Excellent on Scientific Electoral process system and Technophine Governance in Edo, Governor Okowa, Oba Eware II, Comrade Philip Shaibu and Chief Orbih bagged Best Influencer of Edo State politics of the year Award, Excellent on Traditional leadership Affairs Award; Youths Mentorship of the year Award and Humanitarian Service to Edo People of the year Award. ....

These spammers use designs and logos of well-known websites to dupe readers into clicking on their link. The one doing the rounds shows our menu bar and logo and also Al Jazeera logo inside the report to make it look legitimate. Beware of people masquerading as attestation agents , says HEC

The Higher Education Commission said Thursday it had been brought to its attention that some individuals were posing as agents and offering to assist applicants in getting their degrees and transcripts attested.
In some cases, these individuals cheat the applicants by pasting fake HEC stamps or tickets on original degrees and transcripts, the body said.
All such degrees and transcripts, with fake stamps, are liable to be confiscated when submitted to HEC, the body warned.
All concerned are advised to be extremely careful in this regard, and follow the prescribed procedure for attestation instead of engaging potentially fraudulent agents, it added. ....
