Quoting approval of the competent authority, an order issued by B G Krishnan, Director (S) in the Ministry of Home Affairs, reads that “Swain, presently posted as Special DG, CID, Jammu & Kashmir, will also function as in-charge Director General of Police in addition to his existing charge until further orders”
