People who live or vacation on the Tancook Islands will have to wait almost two more years for the new and improved ferry service the province promised them in November 2020.

It wasn't that long ago that Big Tancook Island, off the coast of Chester, was at risk of losing its only school due to dwindling enrolment. Last year 17 students attended.
