Census of Horticulture Colorado horticulture took a bit of a hit last year, as did the nation as a whole. The Department of Agriculture’s National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) released its 2019 Census of Horticultural Specialties report. The report is compiled every five years and is the main source of information about the production and sales of floriculture, nursery, and specialty crops. Roy Dee Meyer passed away on December 9, 2020, in Choteau, Montana. Roy was born on February 22, 1924, in Choteau MT to A.L. Meyer, Sr. and Leah (Fulton) Meyer. He joined his older sister, Lorraine and brother, Al. His younger sister, Betty, was born in 1926. Roy attended school in Fairfield and was a member of the second class to graduate from Fairfield High School in 1941.
