Mixed-race in Irish institutions had "childhood stolen," UN experts say
Mixed race people "had their childhood stolen because of the racial discrimination and systemic racism that prevailed in the [Irish] childcare institutions at the time," a panel of UN human rights experts said while expressing concern about the lack of adequate redress.
