WORK has been completed on a big wheel to mark Clacton’s 150th anniversary.

Clacton Pavilion's 30-metre-high observation wheel is expected to be completed in the coming week. Billy Peak, owner of Clacton Pavilion, said the new tourist attraction marks the resort's historic milestone and will create 10 new jobs in the town. Last November Clacton Pavilion bosses were given the go-ahead by Tendring Council to install a large observation wheel in Marine Parade West.
