So quickly? what do you think gave them the edge over scientists, engineers who have devoted their lives to this type of research? that was always our hope for the fold it project, was to show that, you know, gamers maybe who don t have any training or background in biochemistry would be able to solve these kinds of problems and make these contributions to science. i think, you know, we ve seen aloft the players don t have any training or background in biochemistry, yet they re still able to use their kind of basic innate spatial reasoning skills to solve these kind of problems. in these cases i think a lot of the players who don t have sort of a biochemistry background have a lot of sort of fearless approaches and they don t really know, maybe, what vie bio chemists might think you re not supposed to do. so they re able to be creative and come up with interesting solutions to the problems. a lot of kids can now say, i m doing this for scientific research. i ve got to play my video ....
