After publication of the response from St. Peter’s Congregational Council to Talvi Maimets' letter "Tõsised probleemid Toronto Peetri koguduse juhatusega" that was published in Eesti Elu no. 13 on Mar 27th, 2024, EWR received a response where Dr. Talvi Maimets wishes to correct some errors in St. Peter's response. In addition, St. Peter's issued their own response that is published below this article.

A lot of misinformation about our congregation and Council has appeared in Eesti Elu and the Estonian World Review. The Council of St. Peter’s church wishes to clarify its actions and the decisions which have been taken to solve the congregation’s financial problems. We emphasize that Council has had no discussions nor has it any connection with the International Estonian Centre (Keskus).
