As part of the 13th annual "Take a Bite Out of Hunger" event, The United Family - including United Supermarkets, Market Street, and Amigos - announced that it will donate 5,000 pounds of apples to the High Plains Food Bank on Wednesday.
The United Family donated around 7,5000 pounds of apples to local food banks as part of the Take a Bite Out of Hunger program.
ODESSA, Texas (KMID/KPEJ)- United Supermarkets and Market Street, as part of The United Family, donated 4,960 pounds of apples to the West Texas Food Bank through the “Take a Bite Out of Hunger” program.
