Music industry doesn’t favour producers DJ Breezy BY: Delali Sika DJ Breezy Often an artiste gets all the praise when he or she releases a well put together piece which becomes a hit. When he or she maintains that consistency, he or she gets all the respect and honour. However, little is heard about the people behind the scenes such as the producers who work on getting the song right and DJ Breezy, real name Patrick Sika-Nartey said it was time they were accorded some respect and treated right. He told Graphic Showbiz that, “If you ask me, I will say the industry doesn’t favour producers in terms of respect and being treated right and it is not the best. When you look at the work we do behind the scenes for songs people listen to, how we are seen and treated is not good at all. ....
