U-17 WAFU: Eaglets depart Nigeria for Togo today Ebenezer Bajela The Golden Eaglets will depart the country today for Lome for the WAFU B U-17 Tournament, which serves as the qualifiers for the CAF U-17 Cup of Nations in Morocco.  The Eaglets will fly to Lome from Lagos with a squad of 25 players for the tournament which holds from January 5 to 20.  Nigeria are in Group B alongside arch-rivals Ghana and Ivory Coast.  The five-time world champions will be highly motivated following the below-par outing of the country’s U-20 team at the WAFU B U-20 Tournament in Benin Republic last month.
