That mayor guliani did. and being down here that day -- i worked about a block north. i was here when they were building it. when i got here, i had no idea where i was. the barrens were lost. it was so -- so much devastation, so much death. i guess one thing that stands out that day, there was some sort of a finding of survivors. i found a cobb that i knew from long island. nypd. i said how is it going with recovery? he said forget it. everybody is dead. we can't say it. that's what hit me. and president bush that day how focused he was, dedicated he was. and promising we're going to get them....
