An official stated, “On average, 40 mobile phones are lost in Bengaluru City. Many people lose their mobile phones while holding them in their hands while walking, cycling, travelling, or talking.” Nationwide, a total of 7, 88,663 mobiles were blocked, and 3, 11,186 have been traced.
