Kincardine, ON, Canada / ShorelineToday.ca Feb 23, 2021 6:23 AM The Municipality of Kincardine have made an offer to the South Bruce Grey Health Centre that they hope will result in the purchase of the Siemens Drive CT scanner. Hospital President and CEO Micheal Barrett and Board Chair John Gilbert went to Council last Wednesday night for a delegation. Both indicated to Council that the hospital’s choice was the Siemens Edge Plus scanner which they said was less expensive but just as reliable. Deputy Mayor Randy Roppel says they – quote – “sweetened the pot” – closed quote – in order to get the hospital to go with the one preferred by patients and doctors. ....
