Christmas Eve homicide of Harmony Township woman remains unsolved
HARMONY TWP. — It was a brutal attack regardless of the time of year. But what made it even more despicable and disturbing was that it happened on Christmas Eve and the victim was 94 years old. Fifteen years ago on Dec. 24, Anna Rocknick of Harmony Township was attacked and beaten in her May Street home. She later died from injuries sustained from the assault. Police have yet to find the person responsible for Rocknick’s 2005 homicide, prompting Beaver County Crime Solvers to offer a $5,000 reward for information that will lead to a breakthrough in the case.
