Waukesha residents get to vote for village's president for first time
WAUKESHA - Certainly, local issues take precedent, but the spring election represents a first for the former town that is now the village of Waukesha. When voters head to the polls April 6, the ballot will include two candidates for the village's first president, though the names won't be as unfamiliar to them as the post.
