Deloitte Romania assisted AAylex Group, one of the leading players in the food industry, in the acquisition of the feed, one-day chickens and hatching eggs producer Banvit Foods Romania, owned by the homonym group in Turkey, which is part of the Brazilian group BRF, one of the largest players in the world in the food industry. The transaction was signed in March 2021 and was finalized in May, following its approval by the Competition Council. Its value is of over 20 million euros.

BUCHAREST (Romania), May 17 (SeeNews) - Romanian poultry meat producer and distributor AAylex Group said on Monday that it has completed the acquisition of Banvit Foods, part of Brazilian food company BRF, for 20.3 million euro ($24.5 million). Through this strategic acquisition, AAylex Group will increase its animal feed, chicks and incubated eggs production capacity, covering all areas of production, from genetics, food production to animals, breeding, incubation, slaughtering, at its factories for value-added products, Aaylex Group founder and CEO Bogdan Stanca said.
