Southwest Boise residents form nonprofit in opposition of proposed land swap City of Boise and last updated 2021-07-06 19:28:04-04 BOISE, Idaho — The City of Boise is reviewing a proposal that would swap land in southwest Boise for land in the foothills and some southwest Boise residents are coming together to share their opinion on the proposal. The Murgoitio land in southwest Boise, located between S. Cole Rd. and S. Maple Grove Road, is 160 acres and currently used for farming. Under the proposal, the City of Boise would give up ownership of this land for 250 acres in the foothills. ...
