When it comes down to flawlessly crafted one-off bikes, Atom Bomb Custom Motorcycles’ Clay Rathburn isn’t messing around. For a clear demonstration of this fellow’s incredible abilities, we’ll be taking a minute to examine his work on a Ducati 900SS. The project in question was dubbed the “Eleven,” and its author completed the customization process back in 2014.
Within its gorgeous steel trellis frame, the donor bike houses a belt-driven SOHC L-twin fiend that prides itself with two desmodromic valves per cylinder and a healthy displacement of 904cc. This monstrous piece of air-cooled machinery will be more than happy to deliver as much as 80 hp at around 7,500 rpm. On the other hand, the mill is fully capable of producing up to 57 pound-feet (77 Nm) of brutal twist at 6,500 rpm.
