Boonville child injured while walking to school

BOONVILLE, Mo. (KMIZ)
A Boonvilel child was injured Wednesday morning while apparently walking to school on the 400 block of Ashely road.
According to Boonville Police Chief Bobby Welliver, the area the child was walking is not near a school but we assume the child was walking to school.
The victim was taken to the hospital by a parent.
Chief Welliver says officers arrested a person in connection to the injury and charges are pending.
The child did not have serious injuries and is reported to be in stable condition according to the Boonville School District. ....
