Viruses compared to last once. how much you think that fourth shot will help? yeah. but i think it will do. i think will be no will to. is help prevent serious illness. what we are really trying to do is prevent people from being hospitalized. over the last month. hospitalizations have increased. they basically doubled over the last month. over the last couple of weeks we ve seen that start to creep up as well. i know that we are nowhere near where we are. back in december, january, so about 20 people are dying every day. but 2000 people a week. and adding the ability to sort of boost antibodies and people under the age of 50 who have not yet gotten a second booster. it should help that group prevent serious illness and hospitalization or death. so i think it s a good idea. in the fall, we ll probably see a new version of the vaccine which includes protection ....
Help you fight omicron, or how much it would help you fight omicron. let s look at basic results. moderna is saying their current booster, which is 50 micro grams, that it boosted antibodies. they said 100 micrograms, double the dose, boosted antibodies even higher which brings into question, should they have made it 100 micro grams. but the effectiveness is unclear. just because it boosted antibodies does not necessarily mean that it s going to help you in your fight against omicron. but i think the bottom line, the sort of take-home message for all of us stays the same. get vaccinated of course. and get boosted. it did boost antibodies. it s not going to hurt you. and it could help you. bottom line is the same. get vaccinated and get boosted if you re more than six months past your second shot. also this morning, dr. anthony ....

Need to know. what is it? oh, victor, there is a lot. it s not entirely clear how effective or if it s really all that effective, this booster, that moderna is putting out now. the 50 micro gram booster that you can get at pharmacies. it gets complicated. let me lay it out. let s take a look at what moderna said. moderna said when they looked at their current booster, 50 micro grams, that s what you can get going to a pharmacy or whatever. it did boost antibodies, but 100 micro grams boosted antibodies even higher, and the effectiveness of either dose against omicron is unclear. just because you boosted antibodies does not necessarily tell you exactly how effective it is or how long the sort of durability of any protection that it might give. now, president of moderna says, well, maybe, you know, it s possible that we could go to a 100 micro gram dosage. that would be easy enough. that s what the first two shots of moderna are. they re sitting on shelves. ....
