YEREVAN, JUNE 1, ARMENPRESS. The first meeting of the Border Commissions between Armenia and Azerbaijan was held in a good and constructive environment, Armenian Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Gnel Sanosyan, whose deputy is involved in that commission, told reporters today.
In the context of the past days' tensions between Armenia and Azerbaijan, President Michel reiterated the EU’s commitment to deepen its cooperation with both countries to promote a South Caucasus that is secure, stable, peaceful and prosperous for the benefit of all people living in the region.
The United States welcomes the first joint meeting of the Armenia-Azerbaijan bilateral Border Commissions, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said on Twitter, as quoted by Report.
