He has interned at the National Maritime Foundation and the United Service Institution of India in New Delhi. Sharma's interests encompass military history and the crucial role of geophysical configurations in warfare. Beyond his academic pursuits, Sharma is also an avid ultra-marathon runner and has run over 115 km in a 12-hour track run.
