Gray, Barnes Earn ACC Weekly Honors
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (seminoles.com) – Florida State redshirt junior RaiQuan Gray has been named the ACC Player of the Week while Seminole rookie Scottie Barnes has been named the ACC Freshman of the Week as announced by the Atlantic Coast Conference. Both Gray and Barnes were instrumental in helping Florida State defeat Wake Forest, 92-85 in overtime, in the Seminoles’ only game last week. It marks the first time in his career that Gray has earned the weekly Player of the Week honor from the ACC and is the second time this season Barnes has been tabbed as the ACC Rookie of the Week.
