Time, mark, goes by where you had been hacked and you don t know it? well, a lot. one of the things is, one of the problems is, you don t even have to have a personal computer or even were online to be a data breach victim. as long as information about you is held by somebody that data is at risk. what the hackers want to do is get that personal information, and either steal money from your credit cards, or become you. so open a new identity, or sell your data to somebody else. and there s a long lag time between the time they make a breach and the time that they may then exploit what they use for the breach, and the other thing people break into your computer and use it as a robot network or botnet to go after other people s computers as well. somebody may be being attacked in montana coming from your computer and you know nothing about t. robert, make me feel better. are we going to go down the road where this is going to get worse, or potentially are we at ....

Situations that can happen. well, malware, as you know is widely used already by hackers who are trying to get your credit card information and things like that. so it s not hard to imagine with a few tweaks of the formula, you get that into somebody s e-mail, get them to click on a link. if they re doing online voting then you could create all sorts of havoc that way. you can redirect, change the vote, any number of things, once you got in to make that initial click. the spoofing thing would be a case where you would really direct the traffic, make it look like it was coming from their computer. but udin directing that using your army of botnet in casting a vote. is this thing far off in having something properly supervised, technically easy, but properly pure, when it comes to casting a vote? i think it is. you know, the security experts have been warning for years that this is a problem. that the systems are not as ....

As a nation. well, dylan, the worm, in this case, conficker, infects your computer, and essentially turns over control of it to a remote operator. and it also connects your computer to millions of other computers around the world. there s two ways that you can have an enormous amount of computing power. one is to build a supercomputer, and the other is to connect a lot of small computers together into a network, a botnet. something the size of conficker can be used for something as simple as to steal your personal information or it s been used to drain american bank accounts, in some instances. it s also large enough and potentially powerful enough that it could be used to launch an attack that could take down the internet itself. to what extent do we even have information about the level of development in our own government, both to perpetrate cyberwar, and/or defend itself, ....
