AFTER years of standing as local landmarks, two huge gas storage facilities will be demolished in the coming year. This Summer Northern Gas Networks will begin work to pull down gas storage facilities, some dating back to the 1930s, at two sites in Bradford. The work is expected to last until Spring 2022. The existing bungalow building on Mount Street PLANS to demolish a bungalow and build a development of shops and offices in its place have been submitted to Bradford Council. An application to re-develop the site off The Grove, at its junction with Birksland Street, has been put forward by a Mr Nadeem.
